Why I'm Running
Our community deserves leaders who are willing to listen, ask tough questions, and focus on practical solutions—not politics for politics' sake.
I'm running because I believe the people of our district deserve a representative who is accessible, accountable, and committed to protecting the values that make Vermont such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.
Whether we're talking about supporting local businesses, strengthening our communities, making responsible fiscal decisions, or preserving opportunities for future generations, I believe we can move Vermont forward by working together with honesty, respect, and common sense.

Make Vermont More Affordable
Too many Vermonters are feeling the pressure of higher taxes, rising property costs, and an increasing cost of living. I will continue working toward responsible budgeting and policies that help families, retirees, and businesses succeed.
Bring Back Fiscal Responsibility
Every tax dollar represents the hard work of Vermont families and businesses. I believe government should spend responsibly, prioritize essential services, and remain accountable to taxpayers.
Support Safety in Our Communities
Public safety is one of government's most important responsibilities. Every Vermonter deserves to live, work, and raise a family in a safe community, supported by thoughtful policies that protect both individuals and neighborhoods.
Protect Property Rights
I support policies that respect private property, promote fairness, and ensure Vermonters have confidence that their rights are protected.
I'm a lifelong resident of Castleton, and a descendant of a long line of Vermonters -- 10 generations, to be exact.
I spent many years as a successful, self-employed businessman: both as a machinist and later as an auto parts store owner with my wife. I was later employed by VTrans for 5.5 years prior to my retirement from full-time employment in 2024.
I was a candidate for the VT House in the last election and was elected as Castleton's representative in November 2024.
In December, however, I resigned my position to support my late wife and family after she was diagnosed with cancer.
In the last election, my message was affordability and the need to achieve better political balance in Montpelier. Better balance has been achieved and the supermajority has been eliminated, but there is still much work to be done.
Affordability, property rights, and public safety can be improved if we continue to elect common sense candidates.
